Best location for Engagement Session

One of the first steps to take to hop in the wedding phase is the Engagement Session. I know how important it is to plan ahead the Save the Date cards, wedding announcements, but the first photography session you will have with your fiancé is beyond that.

The engagement session is the time when you guys will break any insecurities in front of the camera, get along with the photographer and get to know what you like the best on the photos. On the wedding day you're already comfortable photographing with your partner and has a closer relationship with the photographer.

So, as a wedding photographer, I believe this photo session be a must and you will want the best location for your pictures!

Weather you're a country girl or loves the nature this type of location is perfect for you! I photographed Gab and Matt at a mountain top in Virginia, around two hours from Richmond.

The experience was absolutely beautiful. We picked sunset to celebrate their love and the results couldn't be prettier!

Gab&Matt are all into fun and connection so they wanted to enjoy each other while registering these memorable moments during the photo session.

To plan a mountain top photography session requires research of best timing to shoot, the temperature, weather, clothing, difficult level to get to the location etc.

But, honestly, that is so fun to plan. I normally track distance, sunset, create a board of inspiration as far as colors, style, couple's personality so I can draw the perfect session that shows off exactly who my couples are.

Mountain top photo sessions work not only for engagement but for adventurous wedding, elopement or just because.

I will help you in all the steps from choosing the best moutain top/forest, to clothing, style and prompts. The experience is a getaway for you and your partner and I promise lots of love and cuddles.
